ZowieBox can easily mount onto any SLR camera using a standard 1/4-inch tripod mount. It effectively converts existing video signals from professional cameras and display screens into real-time, high-quality IP video streams with low latency, all compatible with NDI technology.
ZowieBox can encode formats such as H.264 HP/MP/BP, H.265/HEVC MP, NDI, NDI|HX2 and NDI|HX3 as well as SRT, RTMP, RTMPS or RTSP protocols whose bitrate could be up to 50 Mbit/sec. Simultaneously it can directly push streams to multi-platforms such as Facebook, Twitch and YouTube, without a PC. Alternatively, these IP streams could decoder into high-quality SDI outputs.
For AVoIP video streams, including protocols like RTMP, RTSP, and SRT from DJI drones, GoPro, and action cameras. ZowieBox excels at decoding these streams into NDI video streams when operating in decode mode. This capability positions ZowieBox as a versatile solution for efficiently handling and converting diverse video stream formats over networks. By leveraging its decoding functionality, users can seamlessly transform video streams from various sources into NDI format, ensuring enhanced compatibility and flexibility within NDI-supported systems.
ZowieBox can be used as an RTMP server, allowing users to pull and push RTMP streams. An RTMP Pull stream serves as a playable link for your live stream, which can be configured as a source for another broadcast. This feature is invaluable for consolidating multiple live streams onto a single screen, making it ideal for esports tournaments and conventions. With RTMP Pull links, incorporating live in-game replays, interview translations, and multilingual commentary onto a single screen becomes effortless.
ZowieBox offers SDI connections for USB-C UVC webcams, supports widely used VESA standard resolutions, and resolves output issues commonly faced with USB cameras. It operates without the need for drivers, providing low-latency output that seamlessly integrates your UVC signal with video switchers such as ATEM devices. ZowieBox enhances the capabilities of your webcam setup significantly.
ZowieBox supports streaming and recording simultaneously, with a video frame rate of up to 60fps and a 24-frame movie frame rate. The input can be recorded as files to TF card or USB storage or NAS. The front mini screen can display current settings and working status in real time. If you have unlimited storage space, you can also choose the next-generation HEVC format for archiving and editing.
